The Head of Retail will play a pivotal role in shaping the retail vision, ensuring a positive customer experience, and achieving financial targets.

You will -

  • Own the success metrics of the entire retail organization including sales, customer service satisfaction and staff retention rate
  • Own and manage the P&L of all retail stores and offline points of sales
  • Own the strategy, budget planning, action plan, execution and resource allocation for all retail operations
  • Own the retail expansion roadmap and set clear objectives and timelines to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability
  • Own the day to day operations including staffing, store maintenance, staff training, visual merchandising, inventory management, warehouse management, customer service and order fulfilment
  • Build a top-notch retail team that creates competitive advantage in sales and service for Sunnystep by actively hiring, training and retaining talents
  • Lead training and career development program for the entire retail team and cultivate talents within the team
  • Create an inspirational and growth-enabled environment for staff and build a strong retail team culture that aligns with company values
  • Provide regular updates, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on roadmap, action plans and key metrics
  • Manage the performance management system from end to end, including setting the right KPIs, monitoring performance, and creating a robust and comprehensive coaching program 

We would want to speak with you if you are / have –

  • A start-up / growth scale-up mindset, flexible, and open to adapt to changing requirements when needed; roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in leading retail teams for a large scale consumer brand and having full ownership of key metrics
  • A track record of success in driving the performance of the retail team
  • Action packed and can make things happen
  • Proficient in KPI reporting and management
  • Stay foolish and stay hungry
  • Able to both think strategically and execute on the ground
  • Passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
  • Able to work under stress and thrive in a fast-paced environment
