The Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations within the organization. This position involves handling various administrative tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial management. 

You will also -

  • Responsible for a simple full set of accounts.
  • Manage the daily encoding of bank transactions and outlets/stores revenue tracking.
  • Responsible for monthly accounting reconciliation; support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely payment to vendors.
  • Data entry for maintenance of proper filing system, ensuring all records are in proper order
  • Prepare monthly statement claims, GST, CPF and related bills.
  • Generate and distribute invoices to customers, payment gateways, and other sales channels, where necessary
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, under the guidance of a senior Finance staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software or spreadsheets.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and distribution of paychecks or direct deposits.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers regarding financial matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing documents, organising records, and scheduling meetings.

We want to speak with you if you are / have –  

  • Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
