As the Director of Operations for APAC, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and customer service.
You will also -
- Lead the retail distribution strategy for Sunnystep in Singapore and across APAC region
- Manage retail store expansion plan that include but not limited to site selection, CAPEX analysis, budgeting, lease negotiation with major mall operators and high street landlord
- Take charge of in-store operations in all retail channels, that include but not limited to staffing, sales training, inventory and warehouse management, restocking, renovation and visual merchandising, logistics and sourcing, customer service, order fulfilment
- Build a high performance retail operations team that drive high sales and high NPS score
- Assist in the hiring and training front-line sales staff so that we can provide the best service standard in the industry while helping sales staff achieve their highest potential and keeping the staff satisfaction level high
- Work closely with marketing team to plan and manage in-store marketing events based on yearly campaign calendar
- Source and lead new retail business partnerships to expand our sales channels and increase our brand awareness
You MUST be or have –
- Passionate about Sunnystep products and mission, and passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
- At least 5 years of hands on experience developing and implementing strategic plans for large scale retail operations in a regional capacity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- A solid experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset, and attention to detail
- A start-up / growth scale-up mindset, flexible, and open to adapt to changing requirements when needed
